In order to support one of our key mega tech clients we are looking for a highly motivated detailed oriented Electrical Estimator 

Primary Purpose:

 • Electrical Estimators have the responsibility of evaluating the cost of electrical proposals and installations for a key client. 

• Calculate the projected costs involved in electrical projects.

 • Validate invoices to be paid

  Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Maintain project budgets and maintain systems of checks and balances to manage project to achieve success.

 • Assist General Manager in negotiating project bids and estimate project costs.

 • Assist General Manager in negotiating materials and equipment purchases.

 • Maintain high quality of deliverables and client expectations. 

• Track project changes and report any required changes to monthly billings to General Manager. 

• Project, project labor and material needs and coordinate schedules

 • Verify accuracy of labor and material estimates 

• Resolve design issues and questions by involving appropriate personnel. Push for resolutions to keep the project moving.

 • Review project contracts and ensure that liens and intents are in place.

• Manage, prepare, administer, and direct the control of the budget for large, complex programs.

 Other duties may be assigned such as: 

• Plan or schedule electrical projects

• Estimate new construction/retrofit projects 

 Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

 • Minimum 3 years’ experience in electrical systems installation, design and project estimating. 

• Minimum 2 years of Construction estimating

 • Must have proven ability to manage people and clients and manage projects for a successful outcome and achieve project goals. 

• Must be able to cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained. 

• 5+ years of finance experience or a related analytical field.
