Due to the excellent results recently achieved by the EESC-USP Team, the Aeronautical Engineering of USP São Carlos promoted a comemorative event at the campus, where the group was presented to the academic society and to illustrious guests.

The event was held at the Jorge Caron amphitheater, in Dezember 12nd. The astronaut Marcos Pontes took part in the event and manifested his enthusiasm by the students activity.

In the team presentation, the students emphasized the new challenge they are facing: to participate in the Aerodesign East 2010 Competition, in United States, in 3 different categories, the Advanced, Regular and Micro Classes.

The team thanks to the Aeronautical Department and to its chiefs by the actualization of the event. In 2010, the team will need more then ever of the support of private institutions and the University to the continuance of its success.
